- Temporary permission: nothing requires presence; it simply lapses if unused. Remotely from Georgia (2020) has been phased out. The replacement is the C5 visa, adopted 15 April 2026: USD 300, applied for online via evisa.gov.ge, multiple-entry and valid up to 5 years, with stays of up to 1 year. It covers remote work for non-Georgian entities only; working for Georgian clients needs a labour permit. Citizens of about 95 countries, including the US, can also stay 365 days visa-free.
