Prove Passive Income
The D7 is for financially independent people, so income must be passive and stable — pensions, rentals, dividends, or investments — at least at the level of the Portuguese minimum wage, with a published uplift for a spouse and each child. Get a NIF (tax number) and open a Portuguese bank account first.
